1200 ADV Triple Black spotted

I too think it should be much "blacker" in order to deliver the true blackout look (started by Harley Davidson with their Black Custom, dare I say :augie ...........).

However, been hearing a bit about the EU "Safety Brigade" complaining about "blacked-out" bikes no-one can see. It is a point, as it's not too long ago that bikes were meant to be be "coloured-up" for the benefit of the average myopic car driver.

Its on the bmw-mottorrad web site too.

I note that the Triple Black Adventure costs £130 more than the regular Adventure? (On the road costs).

Whats extra? Just the black paint?

triple black not

Saw this at my local dealership this morning..........

It's only a colour scheme but it looks nice in the flesh :thumb2

I dont want to sound opinionated but what a disappointment compared to the GS triple black that looked sinister, this should be called the the triple bland it is more grey than black and it gets better you have to pay more and you dont get the £800 quid of equipment you do with a standard Adventure, and just in case the whole world dosent agree with me Chester mottorad have one in now

Everyone's entitled to an opinion-go for it :thumb2
I discussed this model at my dealers today and I too found out that not only does this "limited edition" bike cost more but also (as you point out) does not qualify for the £800 accessories offer, lose-lose :eek
As for not being black enough..........if I got one I would add a tint screen & winglets (already have them) and swap to Black knee panels to the tank in place of the Silver ones, maybe paint the Silver bodywork beneath the pillion seat and possibly the cylinder head guards Black and job's a good 'un, not that I'm for swapping ;)

saw one at CWs yesterday.

nice, could be blacker :nenau but i'd probably pay the extra £300 for it. salesman told me it doesn't qualify for the £800 rebate, and i wouldn't pay that as well.

nuffink wrong with yellow anyway :)

Just seen a triple black at Bahnstormers. I'd feel stitched up if I'd put a deposit down on one. As everyone has said, it isn't black enough, and doesn't look any different to their ex demo 11 plate grey bike.:rob
