mine will be in may  , The dealer told me that march 25th is only the launch date and no test bike will be available for 3-4 days,!!
They must be using you bikes for showroom use??, lets hope they put a "do not sit " notice on your bikes!!,,you lucky sods.. :clap

Hi Geoff, i believe the dealers are getting one customer bike and a demo bike that is the case at my dealer, his next adv delivery is like you say in May :mmmm

Micky's getting his......... this Weds I believe, he emailed me last night

I was told by my dealer yesterday that all the dealers are getting a delivery of two demo bikes at the same time. One for demo use and one for showroom display. The demo bike can then be sold after 4 months and the showroom display bike then becomes the new demo bike :thumb

I spoke to John Clark - Aberdeen the other day and they have one adventure for display/sale, not for demo. I wonder how many other dealers are like this?

Hi Guys,

I walked into my local this afternoon, and bought a spare GS1200 Adv in white which they had with no orders . Damn lucky I suppose. It dont half look good. Had to trade in my trusty 1150 for it. So now I have the HP2 and this one............ Any how I'm off to Latvia on 21st April with my son to my Farm House in the middle of a forestry area. You have to see to believe the riding out there. Any one fancy the ride?????????

Wealth warning

If any of you are not waiting for your 1200adv, a word of warning. Do not go and test ride it. You will want it :bounce1 Had the test today and it is fabulous. I rode the standard GS first then went out on the ADV, The difference is erm.. :eek quite something. They have done a fab job on the suspenders and the seat seems much more comfy than the standard. It is tall though. It feels sooo much more planted than the standard bike, but it seems to loose a little in acceleration, but then it only had 100 miles on it. They have done it again with this new version. I got the same feeling I had when riding the first adventure model after stepping off my 1100. I'm so happy I waited. Get my own one in a week :thumb

Good things come to those who wait as someone who waited a lot once said to me!!!
