OK boys and girls, now don't get excited I am not selling my considerably superior 1150 GSA just yet.

Now the market is flooded with GSA12's, I want to know what is the best value 1200 Adventure specification?

It would need heated grips and I don't want the BMW panniers. I will fit a remus end can and junk the CAT. I don't particularly want ABS either cos I hate the extra time it takes me servicing.

I really don't see myself needing electric suspension stuff so what should I be looking at as essential?

or should I just buy that Fat Bob I'm hankering after and wait for the next generation GSA to see if they can make it look more pretty. :augie

Buy what the feck you want !!

You already have specified what spec you want :augie

You've got an 1150 GSA. Why would you want another GS type bike? Get the Hardly Dangerous and be done with it.

people (and by that i mean me) tend to go for as much as they can for as little as they can, and generally like toys, so go for one witha trip computer if you can. If you are thinking of selling it on again further down the line then really the more it has on it then the more liklihood youll get nearer to what you really want for it, based on being reasonable and also there arent 90 million other GS for sale within one mile of where you are selling it. Mind you I have an 800 with 2000 miles on it and my trip computer is as much use as a chocolate shagging teapot. Fuel guage reads either empty or full, end of story, thank fck for the trip counters is all i can say..
Really sorry if this isnt what you want to hear,or in fact any use at all , but there you go job done, Thanks for reading it......:rob

The force is strong...

You just can't help yourself can you Merv?

The only advice I can give you is go to SBW or Lind (Norwich) for the best deal.

Or pick up a cheap private 2nd hand 2006/07 1200 GSA and I'll see at the Dutch Meet next month and err... fit some snow spikes to your TKCs just in case. :D

Ahhhhhh :eek::eek: Tricky youv'e seen me looking at 1200's

How will I live it down :D

I was looking at the Dutch meet again, I may get there this year. I was looking at Harwich-Hook route this time. Have you booked anything yet?
