The new 1200 Adventure will be shown at the NEC.
This will be its first public viewing
The seat hieght is aparently 900mm!!!!!!
It may also have a top half fairing like the RT
Im glad I bought my 1150 and I think I will be keeping it :thumb

Is this just speculation or is it based on fact? Refering to actually seeing it as apposed to the seat height.

Prove it. You keep running the 1200 down on most of your posts why? :nono

900mm is a great height for an adventure bike or do you have to have both feet on the ground with training wheels attached. :D

The seat on the HP2 is 914mm (36") so it might be similar on the 12A ?

..............it's very , very , high :bow

why not wait till you actually see it before deciding whether you like it or not...???

What a ridiculous idea

All I need is a part no., a vague idea of available colours and a friendly dealer and I can put some of my hard-earned down on a loose promise of getting one some time next year - I am so glad I chose BMW

Or conversely the fact that it's a new model and is definitely crap because they supposedly can't improve the outgoing model...so no matter what...it's a no go...

Got it all wrong:

It'll have retractable wings for short flights - to enable channel hopping

Bigger tank - to enable the above

1200 Engine - all 11xx owners know it's crap, despite being more powerful

C1 Shell - For the luxury off road experience

Cup Holder - see above

Touratech bits - lots of 'em as standard, hence the bikes won't be delivered til 2010.

Optional extras - Wheels, Tyres, Lights, Indicators, Seat, Shocks - New BMW Philosophy, most owners change 'em all as soon as they pick 'em up - so why bother supplying them...

I guess you all know better!!!
This info is from a document sent to your local BMW dealer. The only thing that is speculation is the top half fairing.
