1200 gearbox oil seal?

weep from where gearbox joins engine - smells of gear oil so assume fault lies there (and warranty just finished!). I Know of one other 1200, of similer age, with same fault - any one else had this experience? Dealer said to keep an eye on it - repair is labour intensive although part is not. do I run risk of contaminating clutch if left??

Do a search in the 1200 section.....this is a well documented fault....

How many miles has your 'bike done ?

My 1200ADV is booked in to have this work and has done 21,000 miles. It is a 2 day job and involves removing the back end of the bike. A friend had his done and the dealer found the clutch contaminated and repaced it under warranty.
Book it in now as you will probably have to wait 6 weeks for a space and a loan bike!!!!!
