1200 GS Exclusive TE seat gone hard?

Any one else had this? I've been thinking for a while now that the seat is starting to hurt a bit over distance. even bought a Airhawk on here to try and improve it a bit. but now I'm actualy looking and proding the seat, I can see it's going hard and not as supple as it once was?
It looks like a reaction, but I've no idea what with. I either wear my jeans that I had on the last 2 GS's with no reaction, or my BMW lowers if its raining (in fact, I don't think I've used these as yet om this bike)

Anyone else had this at all??

Maybe it did... but something has kind of made the plastic go hard on the seat? I have no idea where its come from... ill ask at service and see if they have seen it before?

More serious maybe you have heat rising, maybe it can affect seat, my thinks.

Can't help you with your question, but I made the mistake of spraying sealer on my textiles - never again. Every time it rained I'd be sliding on the seat - even washing the gear several times and the seat could not stop it happening.

Two good things came from me being punted off my 1200 last year: 1) my 1250, 2) new gear.

That is the only think we can think of.. I've had a net thing on for about 3 months so didn't notice. Having taken it off I put the Airhawk on... still didn't notice. Only today when I've taken it off half way around my ride as it didn't do much have I seen the seat. The plastic cover is hard and maybe even the foam inside?.... Nikwax is what I used. I'm guessing its gone through the net when riding and hot, and started eating at the seat?

May be a trip to Mr Archer required.. wonder if he can match it?
