1200 , Gs , GsA , & Hp2

like the head guards a lot.

hope they don't wreck the heads in a spill like OEM though.

I don't want be too negative but head covers on the 1200 don't work too well - as a crash damage reduction measure.
I only have experience of the Touratech covers.
The lower mounting point excerts all forces through a bolt - which will snap and (as happened to me) can shear off a piece of cylinder head.
Fitted to the 1150 they're fine as the bolt is into the engine. I had lots of drops - the covers bent, but no damage to bike.:thumb
Only one drop on the 1200 - more damage to bike than covers

Yes very nice but i think the design should take into account the BMW crashbar design. I was looking at having my TT head guards "changed" i.e the back part was more raised very much like the current ADV's head guards, I think then they would look good, working in conjunction with the OEM crashbar, would give the extra protection needed in those minor drops, if you know want I mean, in other words a holy version of the OEM head guards and a bit stronger. Oh and abit bigger pictures for us blind buggers

They do look nice, but for the price Hepco & Becker crashbars are a better option in my opinion.

I think Steptoe has said that crashbars have a tendency to dig in and flick the bike over causing tank screen and clocks damage.... it may be different for a 1200:nenau

These are Valid points.
But my Guards Differ in that they allow a 5MM movement
which is limited in movement by a Rubber Bush.

Thoughts and comments

How many manufacturers give you the chance to have your say.
I would appreciate your genuine, thoughts and feelings on these.
What do you think of the Pricing as compared to the Alternatives
given that these are substantially different and have taken the
other manufactureers faults into account and addressed them.

Nice to see that you've thought about the way that the head guards are mounted. I've got the Touratech ones and it does concern me that in a spill the way they're mounted could potentially wreck the head.

However....I think the holes in your design are too large. It looks as if it would be entirely possible for a rock to insert itself in there and damage the rocker cover when and if the bike is dropped.

They look a bit like half an ice hockey helmet (upside down)
Looks the business:thumb
I am looking forward to losing the H&B crash bars and replacing them with these

There ye go , whaddya think of them.

If I go fording, I best not drop the bike because I won't be able to remove the spark plug caps :(

I too like the look but have concerns about the size of the holes. Too great a potential for ingress of small rocks etc becomming trapped between guard and the rocker cover they are supposed to protect :nenau

That the rocker covers are not "Holed"

Another one in the "holes too big" camp. It's rarely the big flat rock that will put a hole in the cover, it's the sharp pointy one. If ye divided the holes in two again, I'd be interested.
