Don't believe all that stuff about 'basically the same bike'.
Well it's true of course, but they couldn't feel more different.
When I borrowed a loan bike1200GS, it felt hard sprung, choppy, uncomfortable...but noticeably faster in acceleration..in comparison to my ADV.
And small.
Yet when I had one, I thought these things made a better bike.
It's all perception and what you get used to.
Does any body know of any acceleration comparison figs between the two?
