I need to play around with my screen adjustment but could use the collective wisdom of the board ... more so as I dont live anywhere near a motorway or open road to do testing. Please advise what height are you, and what setting works best in eliminating helmet peak buffeting.

6'1".

Just done 1600 miles to Madrid and back.

Started on the highest setting (seat also on high).

Lot's of buffeting around top of helmet.Lowered screen to mid position.Much more comfortable though slightly more wind in the face.

i left the screen like that for rest of trip.

I`m 6ft tall.

Screen on second highest setting. No buffeting at all but airflow directly into my eyes if I have my visor open, I have a Tour X and I don`t have any ill effects because of the pek.

Just wish I could get that airflow a little higher because I like to ride with the visor up.....!!

touch of wind

5'9" and I find that with the screen on the highest setting sends the wind over my head and can ride with my visor open right up to motor way speeds.

Must say though that because there is no wind blast to take your body weight off your arms that I find it more tiring on motorways than the 1150 I had before.
Setting it any lower just increases wind blast around my head and not low enough to catch my shoulders and take the weight off my arms.
Its not bad, just something that did I did not notice on the 1150.

6'1..ish..
Seat on high position.

Have de-clitted the screen adjusters and adjusted to highest setting.
Torbinators below on second from bottom to get some air below.
Touratech clip on deflector.

Seems to deflect the air to within about 2" from the top of my head, so I get some wind noise from helmet, but I can ride at 80mph with visor open.

Also feel comfortable with flip Caberg open at this speed, just a bit paranoid about stone chips in the face though.

Absolutely no buffeting, and very stable passing trucks on motorways.

6' 3", started with screen fully up. Good protection, but catches the Tour x badly around the peak, causing annoying vibration, although could ride with visor fully open Would be ideal with ordinary helmet.

Now in lowest position. No buffeting around the helmet, wind hitting me around the chin. slightly less weather protection, but still miles better than any other GS :thumb

hmmm

I am 6'0" and I kind of naively thought the higher you have the screen the more it would deflect the airflow, but it seems it is just causing more buffetting. I will try lowering the screen a couple of notches after this advice.

Thx gents
