The rear servo is stuck on and the speedo is working as it should I've looked at all the sensible listed possible causes I can find and no change
has anyone removed the servo I dont have one on my 1150 and that stops ok

rear brake servo stuck on update now fixed

Having checked all the posibilites i could think of I put the bike back together and went to CW Dorchester to get the fault codes checked , well there was lots of fauld codes probably caused by me looking for the fault
once they cleared all the codes the servo then worked as it should

when checked the first fault code was low battery I remember when the bike would not start I got my 1150 out and used it until I replaced the battery on the 1200 a month later

so it cost me £35 for a half hour labour
they did say there is a kit of parts available to convert to non servo the cost is about £375 with instructions a new servo is around £1500

Many ServoABS faults are due to low battery voltage upsetting the electronics in the ABS controller. 1200 battery's are known for being a bit weak, and further degrade with age and use perhaps it would be best to fit a new and reliable battery like a hawker odyssey etc. Sounds like your ABS is ok.

I had a similar thing although speedo stopped as well took to dealer and he cleared flault code and it was ok ,the servo has come on a couple of times since but I turned ignition off and back on and it has reset.

05 with 65k up it.
