I am probably coming back to Europe from teh USA next year and am thinking about bringing my bike with me. My shipping company tell me it'll cost just an extra $300 to put the bike in my container.
I have an 07 GSA in white with ABS, panniers, lights, computer, tank bag etc. All BMW extras. Bike has 15,000 miles and is un-marked, tip top, super clean loved condition.
Question is how much is it worth in the UK and would the fact that I imported it from the US worry any prospective buyer in the future??
Also, anyone know if I have to pay import duties?? It is not my intention to sell the bike straight away (if at all) and I have owned it for more than a year.
The only difference I can see between my US and European bikes is that I have the other side pointing headlight (though it doesn't seem to have an obvious dip to either side when riding at night). I removed the charcoal cannister.
