Hi all. Servicing my 2014 1200 GS LC with 15k on the clock. Removed the RH cover and there was hardly any oil there - maybe 25ml. Inside of the cover looked like new. Removed the LH cover and about 50/75 ml of oil was there. Bike was cold and hadn't been on the side stand for days. Seems odd that RH and LH have very different levels of oil residue? Should I look at oil feed and drain galleries?
( tappets all in spec by the way but I had to get some tapered blades to properly check the lobe / follower gaps ...)
