1200 LC to 1250 Engine swap.

Has anyone swapped a 1200 engine for a 1250 engine into a 1200lc frame, or know if it is possible? I appreciate I would most likely require an ECM and wiring harness swap.

Realoem suggests the 1200 and 1250 shared the same frame - at least for a while.

Not sure the bikes electronics would be the same , so you may need an ecu change , which would also mean a loom change. Things are not that simpole now .

If you had a write off 1250 then assuming it’s physically possible then yes.

But if you’re buying an engine on its own then I’d say you’d need too many other bits for it to be viable.
