Hi Gazza.
Was just wondering how the 1200 light bar was coming along.
Was trying to pm ya but you have it switched off and I can not find a e-mail address for you so had to open up this thread again.
Rgds.

Hi Kenny sorry my sponsor thingy needs feeding but they are being put together and will be available very soon. Bin onto my man who says he is just waiting for the polisher to finish and then they will be ready. Sorry for the delay, but worth the wait. Will sort me sponsor thingy now and then you can pm me your details.

Cost

Have you set a price on your light bar?

Are you accepting orders?

Thanks

Dave

I will put you down for one Dave, you can make your mind up later when I get the price from my man. Have a few orders already so I will just reserve on for you. No commitment :D

Gazza, you ship them to Belgium too? If so, and if affordable put me down for one.

done, but you won't be :D
Woah......! Slow down there, big fella. ISTR you were quoting c. £70 a few posts back. Now I appreciate you're not making a killing on these and the economies of scale play a big part in the price. But....as much as I really want a way to mount my Hella FF300s and a pair of Micro DE fogs, at the kind of price I'll be reaching for the Dexion.

That a big subjective IF there Schtum!
On balance, how often have you known things to be significantly cheaper than the initial estimate....?

Sorry your post makes no sense to me at all. I have said I expect them to sell for around £70 so whats your problem. We did a fag packet costing so that we had a reasonable figure to work around. Nothing has changed. Go ahead and use whatever you want to mount your lights, I am not the least bit interested. As I said before I am not in this for profit, just trying to provide something that suited my requirements and may be of use to others. Having a few made makes the wholesale price a lot more realistic.
For those waiting my man says these will be available next weekend, if you live local come around and I will fit it for you, saves p&p and you get to see the kit before spending any pennies.

New Bar Kit

My new bar kit will be available thru European PowerSports Distributors in a few months. It is Aircraft Grade (T-6), Clear Coated and will mount up to 11 different PIAA lights with included hardware (the most popular PIAA's used on previous GS models). No drilling required for the PIAA lamps. This kit will also mount the PIAA 600/610 HID light kits, including the ballast assys. The bracket kit to mount the Ballast Assys will be an extra cost option for the HID kits.

Other mfgs lights can be mounted with slight modifications to their bases.

A Switched Power, Plug'n Play I/F kit will also be included to allow a "NO SPLICE" connection to a switched ciruit for the switch/relay.

Check with your local PIAA distributor and ask when they expect to receive the PowerSports Light Bar kits for the 1200GS.

Well I am now in a position to supply the few I have left of these kits. I have two spare sets available now and another 5 by the end of the week. For those who showed an interest Eric_Norman and Omega, pm me if you are still wanting one. Cost £70 and includes UK postage and packaging. If you want to collect I am in Nottingham and offer a free fitting service and reduced price of £65. I said I wouldn't do this, but I have received quite a few enquiries and don't feel I can meet all the demand. So if there is enough interest I will have another 10 sets made up. Let me know if your interested.
