1200 to 1200 Adv my conclusion for what its worth!
Made the move just before Christmas.
1200 GSA is bigger but has a greater presence. Fog lights are fab.Say you diddnt see me now! Computer grand but no biggie! A little extra height but not significant. Great fuel range a real luxury. The polar colour scheme with the red cleans up real good. Suspension seems better for rider and pillion. Spolked wheels as they should be. Protection from the new screen and the biggger tank is def noticable.
I am not your road racer but the adv seems to handle similar to the 1200gs.
Conclusion, glad I traded rather that spend money on the bits.
Disadvantages: drivers slow when they see three lights comming up behind them.
PS. I kept my panniers from the 1200, plastic expandable and transferred the brackets etc. When they work they are hard to beat! but not off road as they get the shit shaken out of them and are prone to cracking or even falling off.
