Assuming its the Vario topbox, you are going to need the mount plate & steel bracket with the mounting screws and the two bolts for the back of the frame. About £65 if memory serves.
Be very careful with the two bolts that screw into the end of the frame rails that support the bracket, these can be REALLY tight and before you know it 'SNAP'. Wise people use a tap and recut the thread first.
If its the GSA you also need a steel mounting bracket which goes over the luggage rack--do you have that too? If so it should be pretty easy to figure out...
Thanks for the response lads yes it came with the mounting plate and relevant fasteners, I saw the seller had cut two semi circle shapes out of the plate where the two support struts fit in didn't look right so that was my initial worry and approx torque setting woild be good to know and of course any other tips, I suppose I will also have to change the locks to suit my ignition key as well so if anyone can advise there I would be obliged.
Thanks for that it is a vario and I have the bracket and fasteners but noticed the previous owner had made two cutouts in the end of the frame seemingly to accomadate the two struts that attach there which didn't look right to me. When you say to recut the threads is that before you replace them into the frame?

Here are some photos which might help you.
It fit easily - place the two u shape metal washers correctly on the two bolts attaching the bracket to rear rack.
