1200ADV Aircleaner WTF??

There appears to be too little room to get the airfilter out on the 1200ADBV without lifting the tank??? WTF gives? One could trash the old filter but what about getting new one in?

OK - had another go and got it out... real honeymoon fit! Reminds me of working on my old Mini Cooper S!
