Thinking of fitting a hugger to my 1200gs - not too sure what's out there yet. Anyone got any info, advice, comments etc.? Heard some story about early ones causing some rear brake problems, or is that just the usual duff gen?

Cheers

I take it that having a Remus exhaust system fitted, which seems closer to the rear wheel than standard, will not cause any problems with your hugger? How soon after April 1st might they actually be available?

No problems with the Remus exhaust.....

We're now quoting late April/early May for those who have not already put their name on the waiting list as suggested here: http://www.bmwridersscotland.com/bulletinboards/viewtopic.php?t=275

Given the current level of orders coupled with the backlog we're working through, order fulfilment from stock is a luxury we can only aspire to at the moment.......

If you want one, put your name down soonest.......

Very nice...would you consider shipping to the US?

and where did you get the side panel painted to match the colour of your bike?

1) We have an exclusive distributor in North America: http://www.adventurersworkshop.com/

2) The whole bike has been painted, Fjord grey with Titan silver knee indents, courtesy of our 'in house' paintshop:
