1200gs,or 1150

but I just do not feel the same comfort or reliability levels

No Neck, I'm sorry but how do you 'feel' a reliability level?

Comfort okay but the beast is either reliable or it isn't.

Interestingly there is an article in MCN this week where Charlie Boorman tests the GS12, rides it back to back with the GSA (1150) and the overall outcome is basically that the 12GS wins hands down for all variations of on road use, and the 1150 GSA is slightly better for off road....

guess the answer is.... depending on what you want the bike for, where/how you'll use it... depends on what bike is best suited to your needs....

I'd certainly tender the opinion that Charlie Boorman has enough real world riding experience to be a good judge of the old and new GS ranges !!! ;)

Just my opinion though :D

Went to the 1200GS from a Multistrada.

Really pleased with the bike so far and now just over 3k miles.

You'll always hear about the bikes that go wrong and some do go wrong but you'll rarely hear from the folk that have no problems.

Go for the 1200GS unless you're going mostly off road, cos your buying the latest technology etc.

Anyways there will be a 1200 gs adv one day to stop everyone fussing over which bike to have , i'll have my order in straight off.... thats if it's not as placcy as the 1200
proud gsa owner !!!!:thumb
