1200GS spark plug connector

Anyone know who makes these - the connector with the red/orange seal?

I can't fine it in any of the big name automotive connector catalogues - done extensive web searches but not yet come up with the answer - can't quite make out the manufacturers logo on the plug itself.

Anyone know?

I think BMW get most of the connectors made by AMP Connectors, they may be specific to BMW. Might be an idea to look in industrial electronics catalogues

Thanks for that - but did a search of AMP (Tyco) sometime ago - it's a bit like their Superseal range but not quite the same unfortunately.

Maybe if I could find out who makes the stick ignition coils it might lead me to the answer as it has the mating part on the end.

I'm sure there's a BMW repair part that is the connector and flying leads.

Seen it on here or Advrider with the part number (most dealers don't seem to know about it).

Great information thanks - I will chase up my dealer. I do have a slight suspicion that this may have been for the 1150 and not sure if it is for the 12. But thanks again.

Almost the same - but don't think it will fit - that's the AMP(Tyco) Superseal one.

The original poster on Advrider said it was for a 12GS but I've never tried it myself so couldn't confirm if it fits. Let us know how you get on.

Will do - I have asked my dealer if they can track down the kit.

As far as I know, Tyco (who bought AMP) make these connectors for BMW only.

You could try one of the bike breakers as they'll be cheaper than a dealer, I guess - but be careful of the pins - they're likely to be bespoke and/or difficult to get hold of.
