Hi
This morning on my way to my work, I got automatic breaking on my GS. Enough breaking to make the motor "tremble" because of the load. This continued for 300-400 meters, where I engaged the front and rear break on/off to get out of the situation, which I finally did. After 3 more km, at my job, the left front and back disc was about 50 deg C, and the right front dics about 30 deg C. I was driving very smooth, without exessive breaking.

Is there virus in any of the GS-computers ??

Hi.Check your hanguards are not loose and pulling your front brake lever in .This happened to me last week and before engine start. No servo brakes so got a big fright trying to stop at the first junction . Reset the servo and set off.The brakes were on for a few miles until a mate stopped me to say my rear brake light was on alll the time.

Thanks for your help.
I have already spent one week without handguards. But I will check all connections around front and back break.

Good general tip about the handguards - I was convinced my clutch was knackered until I realised the handguard was partially pulling the lever.

Yeah i nearly sent it back due to clutch slipping then Wollastons asked me to check the hand guards which cured the problem
