1200gsa gps power

Hi folks

Just put my gps on my 1200gsa connected it to the prewired
connector i turned on the ignition and the gps came on yay
but turn of the ignition and it stays on. Is it supposed to power
down or not?

The power to aux sockets etc stays on for anything between 20 & 120 seconds after the ignition is switched off....they all do that sir.......
