Hi all,

Following on from my Intro thread (thanks everyone for the warm welcomes :thumb2) I've found a 1200GSA very close to me. Its a 2006 model, around 13,000miles, ABS, BMW Panniers etc. Price is up for £8,450 from the dealer.

How low can I realistically go? I've known about the bike for a while and its been sitting there since June with apparently not a lot of interest (not just that one bike, quite a few actually). So has been sitting idle for a good couple of months now. Can I use this as a bargaining chip?

I'm pretty cack at negotiating so it would be nice to go in with some ammo and a reasonable idea of where to take things price wise.

Alternatively theres also a 2007 model with 35,000 miles up for slightly less (same dealer, same amount of time sitting there idle) at £8,150 and comes with quite a few touratech addons and ASC, Tyre pressure, Vario Panniers etc. Though to be fair I like the idea of an untouched one that I can do up myself to my liking.

Cheers in advance!

Jonny, if you're after one at the right price have a look at mine, it would mean travelling to pick up but think of the ride back, 58 Plate GSA on here at £8.500 only done 7,500 miles (425 since last service):aidan

8450 for a 2006 is a bit rich, more like 7000 - 7450 tops

Cheers guys, that was also my thinking from what I've seen.

My absolute max budget is probably topping at 7500 anyway.

Test riding it today so will let you know how I get on :)
