Yes it's very good, it is however slightly "higher" than the standard seat as its quite wide so even though the height is lower, it's a tip toes job for me to get my feet on the ground as my legs are short. It's good though for 200 mile plus days
I am sure it is very good......however, only if it suits you as comfort is subjective.
Some buy aftermarket seats having read that others are very pleased with them only to find it doesn't suit them.
I found the stock seat on my GSA to be uncomfortable as I do the one on my RT...........I can't however convince myself that parting with loads of money will GUARANTEE comfort. I guess if it didn't suit you could always sell it and take a small loss though.
I eventually realised i was not going to get comfy on the GS, (and able to place foot on floor
) so i have just got the RT.Did about 160 miles today and it is better than the GS. BUT, after seeing the comfort seat on the web, and it is lower than standard, the question has to be asked.

There seem to be several of them around ... here and eBay. Two friends have tried them and are not impressed. Perhaps some kind soul would let you try theirs?

I travel to the Ardennes almost every weekend, i used to do it on my GSA but i had a Sergeant seat on that. I changed to the RT 4 months ago for more comfort and although the seat was sort of OK, i did get some discomfort with it.
A tourtech Kahedo came up on here a couple of months ago so i brought it and it has the same flater wider seat like the sergeant. just rode home 300 miles again and no discomfort.
As others have said some suit some dont, if you buy any seat and dont like it soemone will always take it of you.
I bought the Touratech Kahedo seats off Sethmopp for my RT and I am very impressed - the best seat I have used bar none.
A couple of weeks ago, I bought a comfort seat off Eng of this parish. For me, it is superb. Definitely more comfortable for longer than the standard seat and I seem to be better positioned on the bike 
However, arses are individual things and what suits my arse may not suit yours. It's a dilemma.

Sorry to 'jack' the thread, but does anyone know whether the Kahedo seats are still adjustable like the stock ones? I currently use the standard seat in 'high' position - does this mean I need to buy the Kahedo standard and do the same - or go for the Kahedo 'high' model? Appalling lack of info on the TT website!
The Kahedo seats are identical to the stock ones, fitting wise, so if standard suits you now, go for the same

Looked at the BMW comfort seat but it didnt suit me so I bought a Sargent seat and I seem to be getting on OK with it. I used to get uncomfortable at about 200 miles now biggest miles I did since the addition of Sargent is 290 ish but it was fine for it.
Have to say though true test will be another roadtrip to test day after day - on a recent Euro tour the std seat started to get a pain (literally) after 3 consecutive days (approx 450 miles each day)
With the Sargent you have to do a slight mod for heating element wires but it is a piss easy job.

Sorry guys but I'm way too tight to pay the 400 quid asking price for a Kahedo seat when I usually need to get off the bike for a coffee and smoke break after 100 miles anyway. I regularly do a 2-300 mile day and as long as I break the journey up with a couple of stops I manage fine.
The standard seat is not perfect by any means but it's far better than on some bikes I've ridden so I'll save my money and stick with the stock seat.

Just to put a bit of a input in I have had 5 1200rt over the years but this is the first time I have gone for a comfort seat,?
Well I am a 28 inch inside leg so I was a bit dubious I bought the seat from a fellow tosser on hear I it's fantastic very comfortable and it has made no diffrence in the seat height they are well worth it if you can find one at the right price I paid £275 including pp well that it for now.
