Re that club foot attachment. I can't honestly believe anyone would do that. What a nasty mess

Buy another GS stand and a 10cm length of 15mm steel bar. Cut the end off both - one further back than the other to get the length you want then pressure fit the bar between the two bits. I could measure mine (oh er) if you want as its as long as it can go without fouling the centre stand - it slightly overlaps with the centre but it just flicks out the way when you use it no problem

1150 GSA
I've done 70,000mls on my 1150 GSA. I've ridden the 1200 GS and the GSA and still prefer mine. Yes, they are lighter and have more toys but last year I was in Switzerland talking to two UK bike cops (from this parish) with 1200 GSA's and they said they both thought the 1150 GSA was the better quality bike.
