The bike is an R1250 GS Adv TE and I need a new spindle bolt. The original was hollow and could be snapped by an over eager monkey (me). Now I can’t find a hollow replacement - just a solid bolt Part No. 31428532722.

I’ve tried a couple of dealers and they couldn’t help. Can anyone point me to the correct part number?

On the 1200 gsa the bolt is solid and the hollow bolts are aftermarket to go with R and G or simliar fork protector bobbins , if you haven't got the fork protectors with the bolt through the middle of the spindle just fit the solid one (it is stronger and less 'breakable ')

Edit.... all the pics i can find on the web show a solid bolt on the r1250gsa

Seems this bolt has been use since beginning wethead until now.
