Hi there. I ordered the OEM fog light kit for my 1250 GS (2019 model), through an authorised repair shop in Malta, but to my surprise (and the dealer's), we were told by BMW Germany that the kit is no longer available. My dealer is going to ask if the various parts needed can be ordered as individual units but I was wondering whether anyone here might know something about this? Seems strange that BMW would no longer produce this.

I’m sure the OEM lights are still the same on the 1300 too? Maybe it’s the plastic mount under the beak that is on back order.
According to my superficial online research they are different. One source did indicate that BMW only offer the full kit with new bikes and they would have to be factory installed. That source also suggested that parts can be purchased as individual items which I am hoping is the case. Otherwise I'll need to get aftermarket but I quite liked the idea of the integration with the bike's system.
For anyone here who might be following this thread with bated breath, I've gotten a response from the dealer. He's confirmed that it is possible to order each part individually, just not as a whole kit. Of course it cost an additional €75 compared to the previous quote. In for a penny...
Maybe your dealer can cut you a little discount. Ask and thou may receive.
