1250 Launch live now on facebook , BMW Motorrad

Looking to get one of the soon to be outgoing GSAs. Apparently there are only 45 left in the UK if you want a triple black with TFT.

Dealer is offering 4.9% which I think is high.

Anyone been offered better? I was told this is a retention rate for existing customers.

For a PCP 4.9% is quite good I reckon...

Good when the sun is shining but we will be in October in 12 days time which is a new campaign, a new quarter, and likely a lower ARP as not many people are buying bikes in winter.

I saw someone else in this thread was offered 1.9%?

I guess like most things you need to look at the three key elements of the deal-

RRP and any discounts offered
Value of Trade In and deal offered
% APR rate

All three "bits" need to come together to make the deal....

one buyer may get 1.9% on RRP the other 4.9% on RRP less £1500 discount........

Also these "deals" are on 2018 models - they are running out choice wise.... you can only buy what they have left...... the 1250 will be full RRP full %% I suspect as they capitalise on the " Ohh Shiny" brigade....

Just put a deposit on TB GSA with TFT screen. Healthy £1800 discount and half price top box. Had I had the money, I’m sure I could have got a good saving on panniers. But as I only use them a couple of times a year, could not really justify buying a new set, so will look out for used ones over the winter, or may try to squeeze all my camping kit into a roll top bag.
Buying it from Williams in Manchester. Apparently the only other new GSA they have available is a Rallye. But then everyone knows they are not as fast as a Triple Black :-)

Yup I’ve just put a deposit down on a new GS1250 HP. Total of £23675 with varios . Utter bargain

Now that we're got the new engine, anybody care to guess when we might see a completely updated new model? If Motorrad are anything like BMW cars, a new model should follow 10-12 mths after the new engine get stuffed into the old model.

Indeed, but I won’t be ready to ‘upgrade’ for at least 18 months, so I will get the truly new model not just this interim bodge up ;)

Doesn’t anyone here wonder if the new valve system would be reliable and smooth enough? Always perplexed as to why people are so keen to buy fresh off the box unseen... Let the new engine test a bit and buy a new bike on its 4th year when all the crap has been sorted and the mk1 versions have depreciated beyond recognition... look at the 2013 early LCs today... the 2018 models were so much better in retrospect...

That’s why I’m buying a July 2018 build GSA.
