1250 Rear Shock Refurb?

I recently had my R1250GS serviced, by an independent BMW mechanic, and he told me that my rear shock will soon need replacing/refurb (shock is slow to rebound after compressing rear of bike). Due to cost of replacement I’d prefer the refurb route - has anyone had this done? Any recommendations for a company that could do this greatly appreciated.

Lukasz at T-Tech Suspension recently rebuilt my front suspension and it is perfect. I was able to ride in and ride out later the same day and saved over £1000 compared to dealer replacement. Given the original failed after 9000 miles and this has 2 year unlimited mileage warranty it was a no-brainer.
