No messing around with this gent.
Chris @FWR says the TA3 is brilliant and his fave amongst the GS tyres - even over the PR5. Will give them a try next time.
I've done about 300 miles on a set of TA3 and have to agree that they are a very good tyre. The amount of tread depth is very deep.
Bike on its way to Spain for a quick 1800 miles ( euro bike trans) first time on these so will see how I get on as the PR5 only lasted 1500 miles.

Had the previous version and took them off early as the noise they made was horrendous - how are the new ones?
Nice a stick report, tyres going to get a bashing, will be very interesting.![]()
Will do , interesting to see how these run over the week away , weather looks good as well Hot Hot Hot

Blimey , the TA2 was a great tyre , never had issues with noise , but I do wear ear plugs .
My mistake, it was Anakee's, replaced with PR5's and much happier.
I have a set already to go on soon, I was thinking of Michelin road 5 trail, but fancy a change, and have already had Metzeler in the past on other bikes, so will be interesting.![]()
Yep if they last you a trip and a bit more they will last me 2 years.![]()
If I get the full 1800 I will be well impressed , may not be such a hard session as leading a different group this time as my wingman is working this time .
It will be interesting to see how they run tho over a trip of 7 days with 6 full days and a motorway return leg to Rubi .
mine will be done by dealer, that way if something is wrong, warranty kicks in, and not that much more expensive anyway. And the question many might ask how much to fit.mine will be done by dealer, that way if something is wrong, warranty kicks in, and not that much more expensive anyway.
