1250GS on a 72 plate Pillion seat / heated - too high any alternatives

The missus - does not like the height of the pillion seat which is heated.

Are there alternatives to fit / lower the pillion seat, I've already told her that any replacement will loose the heated seat - which she's fine about - any ideas thought - greatly appreciated -= Cheers

Could you go to a dealers and try the stock pillion seat off one of their bikes to see if there's any difference?

Forgot to ask, what's her specific dislike, is it because she's higher up than you, if so and your height allows have you got your seat on the high setting.

I’ll try the seat swop - my seat is on standard height so could go higher ? Good point I’ll try that

I take it to a local motorcycle seat upholsters and see what they can do to modify it - maybe take some padding out and fit a gel pad to retain the comfort (and they could possibly retain the heated seat element as well, who knows?). It's what I did to my OEM Low Riders Seat (non-heated) and I finished up with a comfier Low Riders seat than before, whilst still retaining the OEM look.

Hawkeye thanks - I did the same with my 2020 GS 850 - seat was as hard as duck - got the upholstery guy to reduce the height and slide in a gel pad - still looked stock when I sold it
