Wunderlich “ELEPHANT SPORT EDITION” tank bag
I have advertised this previously.
This tank bag has been great. It has a tank fitment but it is not a ‘click’ bag so you do not lose any internal volume – it has a flat base. It is very easy to fit – 15-20 minutes, and refuelling is no problem, the bag just clips off and on very quickly. I also like the lacing on top. Ideal for stuffing your gloves while you fumble for your passport.
Unfortunately, I had the thought of converting this to fit my GS and drilled a couple of holes in the bottom. It didn’t work.
But, apart from that it is in excellent condition – as good as new, but as the picture shows, one of the zip-pull tassels has come off.
Although this will fit the 1200/1250 R/RS range, you may have limited use of a bar mounted sat-nav. I had a high level sat-nav fitted to my RS which is both visually practical and an ideal solution.
According to Wunderlich, the dimensions are: 28x26x12, and the volume is 7 litres.
£35 posted, which I think reflects its current condition.
