Guys,
Had a ride on my mate's 2018 1290 Adventure & it was way too high for me.
Then I read somewhere that from 2021 there were more height options. (I'm not that short & no issues with the height of a GS-LC)

What are the seat height options for the later / current 1290 Adv ?

TIA

Later 2021 on 1290 SAS has a much lower seat ht as standard.

Had the 2017 model with the higher ergo seat fitted which was near perfect for me at at 6" 3" which in comparison to my later 2021 model is far too cramped for me and had to resolve matters by fitting highest possible seat and lower foot pegs.

So yes the 2021 models are far better suited for more normal ht riders and you can get lower seats as well.

In addition the electronic suspensions in auto mode allows you to set 3 suspension ht's as well - low, normal and high giving you further options if you legs are short.

Get down to a KTM dealer and have a try ;)

I like my 2018 SAS as it is so tall, my 34" legs get cramped up on bikes with little leg room, I run my seat in high, have the comfort seats and a cool cover - so nice leg room for me, but bit tip-toey even with my long legs.

The 21+ models I find cramped!!! They are significantly lower seat height, and I would say most men should now find them OK, the fact they now offer a "tall" seat is a clear indication that I am not alone in finding them much lower than before!

Just took delivery of new SAS, has heated seat fitted, my inside leg measurement is 29 inches, I can just touch ground with both feet. I just need to be careful when stopping.
