On the off chance, bought a set of tucano muffs, pleased to say they will fit!! no need to remove bark busters...
a bit of possible faffing about required to cable tie around the mirror stalks to keep those nasty drafts out and a "final" fitting around brake clutch reservoirs should be a doddle from here!:thumb2

Fair play dude. I've got my honda forza with muffs, heated grips and goucho. I'll keep the SA under cover unless there's the odd sunny afternoon. Keep us posted on pics how it makes it though the winter.

I may have given the wrong idea that I plan to ride right through the winter whatever the weather, :blast
It will only come out on the days when the sun appears or its at least relatively dry even if cold...the muffs are really to help me protect my hands where all the joints are now playing up if allowed to get cold!!!
despite the guards and heated grips....especially my thumbs for some reason!

A tad unjust . . . . . some of us are getting on tha knows!

certainly enjoyed my last trip to corsica, 3k miles in 10 days....but needed a hoist to get off the bike each evening...talking of which did you get yours off the NHS or private?

:jes:jes:jes

Glad to see you can gesticulate effectively despite your small joint related issues then! :augie

I'm in a similar predicament but with an arthritic right hip, so just getting on the bloody thing can be interesting at times in the winter.

Luckily for me its only when I try to get off that its sometimes interesting....one of my regular riding pals is spending ( in more ways than one) the winter having hip replacement, keeps me thinking I am doing pretty well, really!
