Can I just say that the Cruise Control on the Super Adventure is shit....

Not so much of an issue at 70mph but a potential problem when riding around town and you have set it for 30mph

Why on earth would anyone want to use cc around town......

He said his wobble just started this week after he put tkc80s on and had his jesse 10" packed heavy and carried a huge 100 L waterproof duffel on the pillion seat in front of jesse top case.

For the same reasons you would use cruise control on the open road

I take it your Africa Twin doesn't have cruise control then?

I drive 100,000kms a year in my car and have been doing so for 25 years now. I have never used or thought it would be useful to use CC in a town.

That 'accident' looks staged. Why would the centre stand be down

I think the accident was reported on another forum (advrider) as being the result of a TKC80 & luggage induced "death wobble" whilst travelling at speed, from which there was no recovery. The rider was taken away in an air ambulance I believe.
