Black really suits that bike
It's definitely grown on me although to be fair it is more a dark slate grey than black
So far managed to fit Nav 5, KTM engine bars, Scottoiler, Ergo seats, Givi top box plate, and MRA x-creen extentsion.
Next is the bar risers, S W Motech footpegs and the all important Arrow end can.
Holan Nomada panniers rails will wait for another time

Are you adamant on an Arrow end can? I've got a Remus titanium hexacone end can & I have to say it's a gem
The Arrow makes some racket with the baffle out!! (a very nice racket)

Yep being as I already have it from my 1190
With baffles in it is not too noisy
Strange thing about the 1290 is the standard end can sounds better than the 1190 did despite being Euro 4 etc
Remus 8 looks very nice on the SAS

I was bored at work today so looked at end cans for my 1290 SD GT and was tempted by a Racefit one but I had one on a ZX10R a few years ago and it was noisy enough to make your ears bleed so I took it off very quickly 
Why don't you just 'modify' your stock can? 
Holan Nomada panniers
Well no surprise but my Holan pannier rails from my 1190 are a straight fit on the 1290S
Also no problem taking out the connecting bar that goes through the tail section for the KTM pannier rails - just disconnect at either end and it pulls straight out.

could not be bothered to put the panniers on but they will look like this
Paul...do you know the width side to side fitted to bike? Looks very wide in the pics.....
About a 100cm from memory - there is a narrower option for the right side if you have an aftermarket can rather that the huge original one - should have gone for that option
New Givi screen turned up today - ordered it direct from Italy on Monday so 3 days for delivery is impressive
