Does anyone know if there is a larger screen available for the 1200gs (at 6ft 4 when going at any speed it's like putting my head in a washing machine on fast spin)

Thanks

I've got a Secdem which I'll be finished with in a week or two. I'll put it up for sale later, but if you're interested now PM me and we can sort something.

Cost was €140 (£100) but yours for £70 plus postage. I'll chuck in some Tobinators for £15 instead of £30 as well if you like.

I've got the Cee Bailey +4" tall & +2" wide. I'm 5'10" so the +4 works OK, but if I was getting another one I would go a lot wider.:bounce1

Tobers, what was wrong with the Secdem, Did it not do the Job? I may be interested if it cuts the wind noise, will collect if it does the job.

Tobers, yes I would be interested (I currently spend that a week on headache tablets)
Tried to PM you but keep getting blocked

a friend got the secdem screen and he's well pleased with it - he's 6ft 2". I've just ordered one from Nippy Norman as well - should be here by Friday.70 quid from Norman.

I bought the Secdem to check for Tobinator compatibility. That is now done (and successful) so I dont need it any more.

It worked well on the bike but I prefer the look of the original. The Secdem screen worked well with the Tobes. Without, it was too low for me and there were some low frequency reverb type noises which were quite intrusive, but these went when the screen was leant back further and raised a bit with the Tobes.

I was running without earplugs by the way to sense the airflow better.

I've got the Givi screen since last week and I'm very pleased with it. I could send you some pictures if you're interested in.

I've been running with the SCEDEM now for 3+ months (2,500 miles). Massive improvement over the original item. Minimal buffetting, visor up at 70-80, no noise to mention. And looks much better (OK, beauty is in the eye etc.......)

Having had to listen to the deafening vibrating of the original item, I can now hear the engine!

I'm 6' 2"+, but if you're like Tobers at 7' you'll be bound to have problems.

I purchased it directly from SECDEM - based N of Paris, but I understand that Nippy Norman is now marketing them for £70.

Definitely worth checking out of you've got problems with the original.
