12v accessory power feed and Can-Bus Socket? (Touratech)

I've just upgraded to a 1200GSA and am trying to figure out how to wire up my accessories.

Came across this cable at Touratech which, on the surface, looks like (although expensive) it would make my life a lot easier.

Question I have though, is where would I plug it in?

It's essentially a power feed for my GPS that terminates in a canbus plug - does that mean there are spare can-bus sockets I can plug stuff into??? Or does it involve some other electrickery to plumb it in? (i.e. socket doublers or hacking into wires?)

There is a can bus header on the headstock that the BMW SatNav plugs into - this could plug on there.

Yes, it plugs straight into a blanked off socket, which i believe dangles down behind the oil cooler on the latest 1200GSA's. It can apparently be quite tricky to find, so be patient.

You will need to take the blanking cap off but that is easy. Plug it in and away you go. Easy as that.

Why?

All he wanted to do is to power his GPS, which is simplicity itself from the dedicated blanked off socket at the front. As the fellow said in his opening post, "It will make my life easier". Why make it more complicated?
