Hi, I have a '10 plate GSA that I have put over 90k on so far and still going strong. I was using Keis heated gloves - connected straight to battery - until they failed on Thursday. I had a new pair ready to go anyway as the regular ones are now 5 years old. I replaced everything from the battery to the gloves with new, out of the box, items. The new ones still don't work. The fuse is intact, does anyone know how I could check the current flow at each join to locate the problem? For those unfamiliar with these gloves, there is a section of loom which connects to the battery and is connected to the rest of the wiring with a DIN type plug. The harness threads inside your jacket and the gloves are connected with another DIN type plug at each wrist. Due to the type of plug, I haven't been able to get any info with a multimeter and am lost as to what to do now. I ride the bike 6 days a week and it's pretty nasty out there at the moment and my hands are suffering!! I'm a bit of an idiot when it comes to electrickery, but lately I have noticed that the original battery is taking maybe 4 turns of the motor to fire it up rather than the 2 that it used to. Equally, I would think that the battery (in whatever state it is) would power 12v, low draw accessories when the engine is running.......

TIA

Try the Keis on a car battery. If still no worky you'll have to check every connector. Start from the battery end.

Sent somehow.
