Just got a set delivered from AliExpress. Look nice and fit nicely onto the bike with an easy clip system. Zip quality is poor so not sure how long they will last. Paid €70 for the pair and that’s why I got them. I think the original ones are around €130 each. Will see if I really like them once I’ve done a trip or two. I do have the bolt on side bags which are original BMW ones and they really are good quality and very useful albeit not water proof.

Both sets of. Bags come with waterproof inner bags.

Anyone else got them?

I got the BMW OEM ones, I also got the smaller ones but from China, gotta say the quality is night and day, you get what you pay for I guess.

If I’m looking at the same Deliexpress site, they look very much like the eBay versions, which are priced at half as much again, but appear to be OE-manufacture. The motifs, build material, style all appear identical.
I know the OE tank bag isn’t supposed to be waterproof, but mine stood the test of time at the weekend in a huge prolonged deluge. 🌧️

Yes, the AliExpress s a pretty decent copy but my issue is the zip which seems to be too tight for the bag resulting in not all the ´´teeth´´ engaging which shows the quality is very poor. I did have a fiddle and managed to fix and will lubricate the zip. Waterproofing to me is not an issue as the OE originals aren't waterproof either but the copy ones come with water proof bags so thats fine. Fit to the bike lugs works fine and its a very easy clip on system

An educated guess is they’re OE quality rejects.
You’d have thought the mothership would have crafted a contract for them to be destroyed; doesn’t look like that, though. Win some, lose some….👍

I’ll see how they last and if I find them useful. If not I’ll dump them, if so then might fork out for the originals. After all I paid close to €39k for the bike so what a few hundred for some useful bags right?
