13th, 14th and 15th February 2009 - Team REME & Geraint Jones Training School

Cheers mate, I've had a fantastic day!

Again a great bunch of instructors and the REME boys are excellent, always there to help and always a cheery face when you need it.

Much appreciated their help today and it was well worth doing again, I could see how much I've learned from last year and acheived some pretty cool things there this year...

stil much to learn, but thats life.

Have a good one Russ, you should really enjoy it

My top-tip... if you are taking a Camelbak, take lots of extra water... I drained most of mine in the first two sessions

Great Fun and and (at least) one of the REME guys helping will be along to Tidworth next weekend

Was an excellent day. As a complete, rather old, novice to enduro style riding it was a steep learning curve that went well with the steep hills. Ache a bit today.

Some fantastic instructors giving clear advice and a great area to ride on, all in all an excellent set-up.

There were some really tight areas to work in there, not much room for error, and the roots were a bitch.

Glad you had a good one!

It's a great area to ride around, I think Longmoor might have some trickier bits, but they did a great job at setting up an interesting course. :D know what you mean about the roots and stumps, I kept getting caught out at two places - hadn't noticed the stumps until one of the instructors pointed them out and then I kept aiming for them :blast

I ached on Saturday day, but I remember the worst part about it last year (first year I did it) was feeling so tired, but being unable to sleep after because everytime I closed my eyes, all I could see was dirt tracks and every time I started to fall asleep, I'd jump because I thought/felt like I was about to fall off the bike :D at least this time all I had was the images of the tracks to contend with ;)

Glad you had a good one, never know maybe see you on the next one!
