This was the rough route (ish) and was solo for the trip, using the Hull Rotterdam route, as its only 100 miles from home, and got the ticket on the Black Friday week for £325 return (without meals)

I can stick up my MRA routes if any use?

Found some odd places to visit and stayed overnight in a hotel attached to a convent 😃

I should probably do a trip report when I’ve a bit more time.

I have started you a fresh thread, as I’m sure bods will find it interesting and might not find it in its original location.

How were the Nuns?

Mostly in hiding, must have been my reputation preceding me. One of the hotels I found en route was formerly part of a convent and convent nursing college and overlooked the courtyard.

Was a lovely place to stay for the night in Italy. First pic is my room overlooking the cloisters, courtyard and nursey bit on the left.

Hard to pick one, but, and this will be controversial I guess, as I am mainly a road rider, the Passo San Rocco has been freshly resurfaced and was totally empty, save for another guy I met on a Norden 900. So having the whole road to myself, riding up from Lake Garda was a lot of fun. Not the drama or technicality of other passes, but a huge amount of fun, created a nice little loop around the area before clearing off towards Como.

I also really enjoyed the Croce Domini and the fact that most of it was gravel, I even had the honour of meeting a Fiat Panda Gen 1 4x4 hoofing it towards me on a narrow gravel section, with absolutely no fecks given by the driver :)

Looks a cracking trip, well done, how many miles did ya do ?
As said, some mra routes would be good as i was thinking of something similar next year.
