16 plate gs front shock leaking

anyone on here had problems with the front shock leaking on a 16 plate gs with 1100 miles
was there any known recalls
any recomendations for a reliable repairer

More to the point. How have you got a 5 year old bike with only 1100 miles on it ?

nothing to do with me iv had it for just over a year and done 9000 on it ask the previous owner

There’s a chap on this forum by the name of Denz0 who does rebuilds, folks seem to recommend his services

At that age and mileage it should still be serviceable

The front shock on my 47k mile 13 plate gs is also leaking. Bahnstormer told me not to worry as it is only a very slight leak and could last another 2-3 years as I'm not doing so many miles these days.

Recently had my shocks serviced and lowered by Denz0. Excellent service and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Firefox racing, Keighley. Done loads of BM stuff.. its where AJ tell customers to go if they can't afford new ones

11000 miles - real round the world bike.

If it was a honda or other jap bike there would be uproar and the replacement would not cost 1800 from BMW
