as you see by the above pic ive always wanted to go see that particular rock..........
so i started out on tuesday, planning to meet the k monster in inverness on thursday evening.........
started in manc and despite saying no motorway used the m66 to get past bury
off towards burnley then skipton then squiggly bits to aysgarth
this is near the nature reserve bit @ aysgarth (i think) stopped there and this was about half mile further up
684 to leyburn then 6108 to richmond then barnard castle then 6277 to alston
b road to brampton then
slaaaaaaaaaaag
land of ecosse
selkirk and innerleithen folowed
310 miles only 12 on mway
left at 1 ish - in cumbernauld for 8.30 or so
wednesday

started heading for kirkintilloch and loch lomond via milton of campsie (wha'?) dungoyne and alexandria........
head for inverary but went wrong way and ended up in crianlarich :lol :box so kept goin raahhhhnd and went down 819 to inverary
this was between rary and gilphead but no idea if it has a name or not.........
this isnt ireland
