Think the speedo drive you need is a 2.6 ratio one - perhaps someone else on here can confirm? I have 17" mags and standard spoke wheels for mine which I swap around from time to time with speedo drives for both. They look identical but I can't see any numbers on em. Might be worth giving "Motorworks" a call?

I've got a ZXR400 front mudguard on mine - it needed couple of spacers and brackets making but it basically fits in nicely. Guess plenty of other "17" mudguards" at the brakers would fit?

Currently running diablo tyres on mine which have been v good - may give the scorpions a try next time....

does anyone know what speedo drive works with a 17" wheel is it the 1100s or rockster ?

I used the one off the 1150 R.... works fine...

No work needed on the speedo head.

As for front mudguards, I had the Fallert one initially then changed to the Boxer design 'Carbon'....

The Fallert is perhaps the better of the two, it is longer at the front so keeps more crap off the front of the bike, the Carbon one allows spray to fly back over the top of the guard...
