Have read on Adv site about the 176c being hard to see in sunlight,
anybody on the forum have any experiance of this ?

I've had a 176c of a while now and have never had a problem with the screen in bright sunlight. That's not to say it isn't effected, just that it's never a problem.

The fact that the screen displays colour is a real plus when it comes to rapidly reading the display, it's much easier distinguishing different features.
