Can anyone confirm whether it’s possible to lace a conventional 18” rim onto an R80GS four bolt paralever hub and whether it will fit, i.e. will the spokes clear the swingarm?

I know it can be done on a mono, but I’ve not seen one anywhere on a paralever bike.

The angle for the spokes in the hub would need changing. Also the 18 inch tyre may foul on the paralever arm but it may be possible to offset the rim from the centreline. Biggest issue is the hub though.

That was my concern too. I just found this from SWT though which suggests it’s possible. I’ll contact them and ask whether any other mods are needed

Richie Moore made my rear wheel up - admittedly the far superior Mono but I’m sure he’d do a para lever too!

Yep, after I posted I went back and read the complete thread, and realized that most everything in the post had been covered.
And the OP intended to convert cross spoked tubeless rims to standard, which is just about the best thing you can do to them!
But no one else seems too agree with that so why upset folks who are not going to agree anyway!
