18 plate luggage racks

I collect a GS Rallye Adventure (18) next week, and after watching a video on Youtube i'm confused. The guy had his 66 plate Ali topbox fitted, but it moved about in the mount. He claimed the mounting had change? Is this right ?
I also have a 66 plate Triple black GSA and changing it for an 18 plate Rallye. Hoping to just switch my luggage over.

My ally panniers and box have fitted straight over from my 2014 GSA to my 2018 GSA, all fitment and luggage mounts are unchanged.
