19/17 Rally Raid Wheels Fitted

........I wasn't keen on the steel sprocket, heavy and cheap looking so purchased a Renthal hard anodised 40t this was listed for a different Honda, by doing some research I was able to find the correct sprocket to fit the AT.

Replacement Renthal sprocket

I've looked everywhere for this Renthal Sprocket and can't find it.

Could you let me know where you purchased it from please

I didn't realise that either , surely 1 tooth smaller wouldn't make that much difference ?

Leave the 42t on and see what happens.

Well, having fitted these new Rally Raid wheels today, it all went very smoothly. Luckily I had a spare sprocket carrier, so I can easily swap the sprockets around.

The actual chain slack isn't in the red for my wheels, but my bike has only done about 7000 miles, and I checked the chain slack (as directed by Honda) with the bike on the side stand.

Everything was in order and correct.

Those that went into the red, were you checking chain slack on centre stand?

Nice looking set up with those wheels. If I get a DCT I'd be looking to go tubeless but possible retain the same wheel sizes.

No but my road trips have taken me to eastern Europe where the roads can be very challenging.

Only reason I ask, is that you'll get a much better selection of road tubeless tyres if you downsize to 19" and 17" rear.
