Well done John. Mine is 17yrs since new.
In a way; keepers.
It gives me a sense of feeling with the bike having had it for so long. With it’s little faults that I have to sort out on my own. Another oil change and another successful year on the road.

Some people change bikes on a whim or to keep up with the Jones’s
Touch wood it doesn’t get stolen or damaged beyond repair because it is a case of till death do us part.

Bought my R1150GS on the 12/03/2001, still going strong, although not used as much as it once was as it shares time with its younger brother a R1200GSA purchased 05/03/2012.
 
Mine 1996,
Owned by me since it was 6 months old, 57k . Had many other bikes since I got this, but I can’t ever see getting rid of it :blagblah

Lovely bike...There's just something about the 1100's that really twangs my wire...
